One thing we've always known about Eddie Howe is that he's a class act. Ever since the former Bournemouth man took the job at Newcastle United he's set a superb example and never done anything to put the club in a negative light.

Never has he criticised the fans, never has he headbutted an opposition player and never has he banned a member of the press from his weekly briefings or asked anyone about the bacon.

Eddie Howe has a calm demeanour when speaking to the press, and all of his answers feel very calculated with him giving very little away.

However, when he does let his guard down slightly all you notice is just how classy the man is and why the players are willing to run through walls for him.

Eddie Howe has never been one to hog the limelight

One thing that has been consistent with Howe is that whenever the club has achieved anything, he's never taken the glory, instead making sure everyone gets the credit they deserve.

A shining example of this is always the post-win dressing-room photos where the gaffer is always off in the background making sure everyone else is front and centre.

Last night at the Town Moor event, after Eddie Howe gave an impassioned speech about promising to try and match the fans' passion in the next 10 games, he showed his class once again.

Eddie Howe made sure his staff got credit for the Carabao Cup win

Eddie Howe made sure that the fans were aware that his backroom staff played just as big of a part in winning that trophy as himself and the players.

Not content to just thank his staff, though, Howe brought them all to the front of the stage one by one and made sure to mention them by name, including CEO Darren Eales.

We absolutely adore this man, and let's just hope this is just the start. Long live the King!
