David Moyes has gone full Sam Allardyce this weekend after being photographed laughing at an opposing player seemingly trying to buy a free kick.
Newcastle United took on David Moyes' West Ham on Sunday playing out a 2-2 draw. The stats painted a picture that suggests Newcastle should have won comfortably, and if not for Alexander Isak hitting the post after rounding the keeper, they probably would have.
The stats don't show how hard done by West Ham were by poor refereeing decisions though, and as much as it pains me to say it, because of that a draw is probably a fair result.
There were plenty of talking points throughout the game, goals, free kicks, cards that weren't given etc, but the one that is standing the test of time is David Moyes cracking up at Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The Italy international can be seen rolling on the floor on the touchline right by the West Ham dugout while Moyes points and laughs hysterically.
I'm not sure I've ever seen Moyes so much as smile, you know, except for that hideous football collector's card from his playing days in which he looks like he's just come off the back of a three-day bender.
I can't even remember the incident during the game that led to this photo, but Tonali was getting lifted quite often during the game and whether this was a genuine foul or Tonali trying to win a free kick it's not for me to say.
Whatever the reality, I don't think Sandro Tonali will be inviting David Moyes round for steak night at Gosforth Wetherspoons any time soon.
