We're sure we'll get more clarity on this situation at some point, but why was Dan Burn working as a butcher in the Grainger Market?
Newcastle United have a lot of community initiatives which sees players heading into the city to partake in various non-football-related activities, and we're sure this was one of them.
However, when scrolling through X, the last thing we expected to see was Big Dan Burn with a butcher's apron serving fresh meat to the public.
At the time of writing, there's nothing coming from the club to explain this, although by the time this goes live, we could have all the context we'd ever need.
Newcastle fan Tina Dixon posted the photos of BDB in his new get-up after spotting him in the Grainger Market.
"That was amazing to bump into Dan Burn, as he serves meat in the local butchers in Granger Market in Toon.@NUFC #nufcfans #NUFC"
If it wasn't for the full training tracksuit underneath, we'd be completely stumped, but surely, the fact that he's kitted up means this is somehow linked to the club.
Although, if we're being honest, would any of us put it past Burn to jump behind a butcher's counter to help out just because he felt like it? He seems like the kind of guy who'd do that.
Let's just hope he was careful with those sharp knives, we don't want him losing a finger ... sorry, Dan.
I'm so sorry! Not sorry enough that I could resist making the joke, but sorry enough to know it was a low blow.
