Saturday will see Newcastle city centre taken over by a sea of black and white as Newcastle United celebrate their recent League Cup trophy win.

Rather than delaying the celebrations and making fans wait until the end of the season to celebrate the club's first trophy in over half a century, this Saturday (29th March) will see the Magpies celebrate with the fans.

Kicking off with an open-top bus parade through the city, the party will then move to the Town Moor where special guests will keep the crowd warmed up before the team arrives with the trophy.

The players are expected on stage at around 6:35pm, but the actual event will kick off at 2pm. Whether you're lining the streets or at the Town Moor site, there's plenty going on.

Newcastle United will broadcast the celebrations on its YouTube channel

However, for fans who can't make it to the city, the club hasn't left you out of the celebrations.

It has now been confirmed that the official Newcastle United YouTube channel will show the festivities live.

That's great news for those of us who can't make it and who now get to follow along and witness the action.
