In June Newcastle United had to sell two of their brightest young stars in Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh to appease the PSR rules.
They were two players that nobody at the club wanted to lose but because of the Premier League's arbitrary line in the sand, the club was forced into three deals it didn't want to do, the third being bringing in waste of space goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos for £20 million.
Since then we've managed to bring in Will Osula for around £15 million and could add to that with a £70 million deal for Marc Guehi which will, apparently, wipe us out again thanks to Profit and Sustainability Rules. All of this despite having almost infinite funds at our disposal thanks to the £370 billion wealth of our 90% owners.
Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to buy buy buy and only move on one or two players, usually bringing another one in straight after anyway.
Chelsea have reportedly launched a bid for Brentford striker Ivan Toney who won't come cheap, this is just a few days after landing Joao Felix again as part of the deal to send Conor Gallagher the other way to Atletico Madrid.
They're also in talks over a swap deal for Jadon Sancho with outcast Raheem Sterling going the other way.
It's not just the number of players they are bringing in, or even the transfer fees involved, but the wages too. Sterling is on a reported £325,000-a-week as an example, and he's not even in the squad.
They have over 40 players, they have to split their squad into two and do two separate training sessions every day because there's not enough room to train them all together.
Why is nobody looking at them? They sold a hotel back to themselves to cheat PSR reporting, they did the same thing with the women's team and still they continue to spend like their money will self-destruct if they don't.
Meanwhile, we aren't allowed to do anything because we're good little boys who follow the rules.
Look, we understand that Chelsea have a lot of years of trading behind them which sits them well above us in what they're able to spend under PSR, but surely it's not limitless.
If Manchester City are being looked at for 115 breaches you could probably add a zero to the end of that for Chelsea, and yet, because they highlighted irregularities to the Premier League from the Abramovich days, it's like they've been given a free pass.
One is getting pretty sick of the disparity in the Premier League.
