Bruno Guimaraes is right up there at the top of the sport as one of the best midfielders in world football, however the Newcastle United captain isn't infallible as he's learned this week.
A regular fixture in the Brazil national squad, Bruno has found out this week that he will not be in the Starting XI when the Samba Boys take on Chile tonight.
Brazil head coach Dorival Junior has opted to go with a new-look midfield which does not contain Bruno Guimaraes as he looks to bring the Brazil magic back.
After being handed the captaincy for his club, Bruno was probably feeling indestructible before he found out this news.
After it was announced that Bruno would be sitting on the bench, his father, Dick took to social media to deliver a brilliant, supportive message to his son.
"Bruno, every opportunity is a chance to show your worth, whether on the bench or on the field. Stay focused and prepared, because your time always comes. I trust in you!!!"
It's not hard to see after that how Bruno got to where he is. We already knew how much Bruno's dad meant to him given that he plays wearing the number 39 which was the number of his dad's taxi, but this kind of support is amazing.
Dick has become almost as popular as Bruno on Tyneside and he loves mixing it up with the fans. Bruno has often spoken about how much he loves seeing his dad being adored by the Toon Army.
We wonder how long Bruno will have to sit on the bench as they take on Chile tonight (Kick-off is 1am BST).
It would not be a shock to see Bruno come off the bench and turn the game on its head as he'll have that extra fire in his belly. Perhaps this is Dorival Junior's plan.
