The Toon skipper is often the first name in the comments of his teammates' Instagram posts, doling out the praise and the inspiration.
Of course, he always liked to make a post of his own reflecting on the positives, and last night was no exception.
Bruno Guimaraes captained the side to their biggest ever away win in the Champions League, which was also their first away win in the competition since 2003.

Bruno Guimaraes pointed out last night on his Instagram post that it was a huge win for the team, but also sent a message that they have now set the bar, and they must not drop below it.
"Very important win away from home. We have to maintain this standard from now on. Happy for the whole group. Howay the lads! Thanks for your support, Geordies🖤🤍3️⃣9️⃣"
His post was met with support from several Newcastle players in including Anthony Elanga and Sven Botman.

Newcastle will be hoping to add to their one Premier League win, and with Nottingham Forest misfiring under new boss Ange Postecoglou, it's a perfect opportunity to do so.
