Bruno undoubtedly gets just how much the club means to the fans, and indeed how much the club needs the fans too, so he makes sure to keep that connection alive as much as he can.

You'd think by now we'd be used to how much our players seem to genuinely care about the club, but we just aren't.

For years and years, our players were just mercenaries for the most part. Here for the money and the chance to play for a big club in front of a top fanbase.

However, these days, it genuinely feels like if a player comes in and isn't prepared to live and breathe Newcastle, they simply aren't going to make it.
