Newcastle United are about to undergo their latest test facing Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League - Kick-off is 8:15pm live on TNT Sports.

Eddie Howe has unsurprisingly named an unchanged side from the one that beat Fulham 2-0 on Saturday.

The one difference there might have been going into this game would have been Miguel Almiron regaining his place from Jacob Murphy, but as Craig Hope mentioned earlier, Miggy is apparently still not feeling 100% after missing out on the Fulham game through illness.

An unchanged side seemed the most obvious choice

We had a feeling that would be the case when we did our lineup prediction and we went with the same XI that took on Fulham.

On the bench, Miguel Almiron replaces Alex Murphy while Ben Parkinson drops out in place of Joe White. Youngster, Travis Hernes keeps his place.

Former Newcastle target Moussa Diaby starts for Aston Villa with Ollie Watkins up front which is a dangerous combination.

Jacob Ramsey may not get the chance to show Newcastle what they're missing

Current alleged target Jacob Ramsey has been given a spot on the bench after being linked with a move to Newcastle this week.

Unai Emery has gone strong with his team selection as he pushes his Villa side to keep pace with the top four, while Eddie Howe has pretty much just gone with what's available to him.

We may have mentioned this once or twice already today, but we're absolutely bricking it for tonight. We'll soon learn our fate.
