While the Geordie nation rows their boats through the river for Mikel Arteta's tears, his employers have released a statement.
Newcastle United put out a statement earlier today condemning the behaviour of a small minority of Arsenal fans who took to social media to dish out racial abuse to our players.
The Premier League also took to X to do the same, and Arsenal made a mention of it on their X account, piggybacking off the statement put out by Newcastle.
Instead, Arsenal have chosen to use their official website to release an entirely different statement supporting Mikel Arteta and his mental ranting and raving that he did post-match last night.
Mikel Arteta has conducted himself in a way that should be embarrassing for the club, but they appear to be in full support of his crazy rantings. He has gone on like he's the first manager to have a decision go against him - although, surely by now he's seen that the decision was correct.
Again, if anything, it was the Kai Havertz foul and the Bruno Guimaraes elbow that should be the talking points, but Arteta and Arsenal are fixated on Anthony Gordon's goal.
The official statement starts off with a strong title:
"Arsenal Football Club wholeheartedly supports Mikel Arteta’s post-match comments after yet more unacceptable refereeing and VAR errors on Saturday evening."
Boo hoo! Mistakes happen, it's football. Will Arsenal be asking for the game to be replayed like Jurgen Klopp next?
It's hilarious to watch the meltdown as a Newcastle fan but it has to be embarrassing for the level-headed Arsenal fans.
The "Big Six" have had their own way for so long that now, any little minute disturbance to their dominance is blown way out of proportion.
Newcastle United will continue to surf on the tears of the big six with our Joelinton Hawaiian shirts on.
