Every fanbase has its heed the balls, and usually, they're the ones who make the most noise and end up tarring the rest of the fanbase with the same brush. Newcastle United definitely has them, but it sometimes feels like Arsenal has a surplus.

For whatever reason, being beaten by Newcastle really hits a nerve with Arsenal fans, and that has definitely been amplified since that controversial goal at St James' Park where VAR tried in vein to find a way to rule out Anthony Gordon's goal, checking three separate incidents.

We've already heard from Mikel Arteta insisting that the Carabao Cup balls are just too different to the Premier League ball and that's why they got beat last night.

However, one Arsenal fan took a different tact when he called up Jamie O'Hara and Jason Cundy on TalkSPORT last night and insisted he was happy Arsenal got beat.

Behold cognitive dissonance at its finest as John ruins Arsenal fans' reputations

John kicked off his call by saying:

"I'm really pleased that we lost. We don't want to be in the Carrot Cake Cup. We're Arsenal. It's the Premier League, it's the Champions League and we've got the FA Cup."

He then went on to say that they need a striker and they'll win the league and the Champions League while constantly referring to the Carabao Cup as the Carrot Cake Cup.

Jason Cundy had John on strings and it was glorious

Cundy and O'Hara were hysterical listening to him dig his own hole. He said that he didn't watch the game and then proceeded to say it was boring and that Newcastle played well. he didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

Calling it the 'Carrot Cake Cup' at every opportunity is the most bitter thing ever. It stinks of Donald Trump calling his opponents names to deflect his inner pain.

John couldn't handle the fact that Mikel Arteta put out his strongest side in a bid to actually, you know, win and maybe lift a trophy.

I'm not a fan of Jason Cundy, at all, but he has John on toast in this call and it's very much worth a watch, for John's delusions and Cundy's responses.
