Jason Tindall will be in the dugout without Eddie Howe this afternoon as Newcastle United take on Manchester United in the 4:30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.

Eddie Howe's illness saw the Newcastle gaffer admitted to hospital on Friday meaning his partner in crime, Jason Tindall, supported by Graeme Jones, were left to call the shots this afternoon.

Unsurprisingly, Tindall and Jones have opted to stick with the same team that has won the last three games.

We can't imagine a world where Eddie Howe wasn't at least consulted on the game plan; we know what a workaholic he is, so he'll definitely have had some input.

Spot on, again!

Anthony Gordon returns to the bench for Newcastle United

Anthony Gordon returns to the squad after his absence due to suspension which was then prolonged thanks to an injury he picked up on international duty and we expect we'll see him late on in the game.

Youngster Sean Neave keeps his spot on the bench despite Gordon's return with John Ruddy dropping out.

It's an unchanged starting XI for the fourth game in a row, so let's hope it's a win for the fourth game in a row too.

Man United's starting XI looks horrendous - We love it

As reported earlier, Andre Onana is nowhere near the Man United squad with Altay Bayindir starting in goal and Tom Heaton on the bench.

The pretender to the throne, Bruno Fernandes, captains the side, which features 18-year-old left-back Harry Amass in the starting XI making only his second Premier League appearance.

Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen both start also, leaving the team to look, honestly, pretty weak.

Newcastle should walk this one on paper, but we know how these things go, so we will still have to be at our best to make sure we make this count.
