Newcastle United meet Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at the City Ground today. Kick-off is 5:30pm and the game is live on Sky Sports.

We caught up with Forest fan Lee Clarke from nottinghamforest.news to ask him a few questions as we head into the game.

The signings of Jonjo Shelvey and Chris Wood had to be mentioned, although it seems Lee would rather we didn't talk about one of those, and of course we had to get an opinion on FFP.

Check out Lee's responses below, and let's just hope his prediction doesn't come off.

We may have touched a nerve at one point

How are you feeling about life after Steve Cooper?

Much more optimistic to be honest, we're competitive in most games now and always look to set up with an attacking system rather than worrying what the opposition might do. Nuno has worked wonders with the hand he's been dealt and long may that continue.

What are your thoughts on Chris Wood and Jonjo Shelvey?

Wood was pricey but he's largely proved a lot of people wrong. He's our top goalscorer this season and it's a real shame that he's now out injured for a little while. As for Shelvey... Lets move on...

Who is your best player? Who are your unsung heroes?

Best player is comfortably MGW [Morgan Gibbs-White] who will play at the very top level without any shadow of doubt. Taiwo Awoniyi is very important to how we try to play too so watch out for him. Unsung hero, I'd possibly say Anthony Elanga. Many questioned us signing him but at 15m he's looked a real steal.

What do you think about FFP?

The rules seem a bit unfair. We're essentially being punished for a three year cycle when we were in the EFL for two of them. Ultimately, it's probably another blemish on modern day football. However if we've broken the rules we deserve to be punished. It just feel as though it's a case of the PL keeping the top teams at the summit and balls to anyone else being competitive.

If you could have one Newcastle player to play for Forest, who would it be and why?

Got to be Bruno! He's absolutely a Rolls Royce of a player. I also love Callum Wilson and believe he's been unlucky to be in his prime when Harry Kane has been an easy pick for England.

What is your score prediction?

Tough game but will go with my heart. 2-1 Forest win.
