Many players who have come to Newcastle United have done so after speaking about playing at St James' Park as a visiting player and how intimidating it is.
However, those players also speak about how they love it, and when they join the club, they can't wait to experience being on the right side of the atmosphere.
The latest player to speak about playing at the Cathedral on the Hill is Newcastle's 'priority target' Bryan Mbeumo, who classes St James' Park as one of the hardest grounds to play at.
Newcastle want Bryan Mbeumo to leave Brentford and join them this summer as a priority, with the Magpies desperate for a new right-sided forward.
Brentford are expected to want around £50m-£60 million for the Cameroon international, which many Newcastle fans believe is a good price for a player of such quality.
And in a Q&A with Pro:Direct Soccer on YouTube, Mbeumo admits to finding it difficult at St James' Park after being asked which stadium was his favourite to play at.
“What’s your favourite stadium to play at?” Mbeumo was asked.
“Oh, I really like Everton and Newcastle as well,” Mbeumo said.
“The toughest away stadium to play at?” The winger was asked.
“Probably one of those,” Mbeumo said.
Well, Bryan, if you love playing at St James' Park as a visitor, imagine how good it would be with the Toon Army at your back spurring you on.
Especially when you're pinging crosses into Alexander Isak and being backed up by Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes.
Not to mention, bridges. Do you like bridges?
If that doesn't convince him to join the Magpies this summer, nowt will.
