Newcastle United have released their usual Wednesday training gallery as the lads get ready for the trip to Crystal Palace.
The Magpies are back in action in a good old 3pm Saturday kick-off this weekend down at Selhurst Park.
After the home defeat to West Ham on Monday, Newcastle need to bounce back with a strong performance and a win on the road to get back in the race for Europe.
Not just that, but after all of their games over the summer, fans will feel that Newcastle owe Crystal Palace one.
The good news for Newcastle is that Dan Burn has now served his suspension and can replace the abysmal Lloyd Kelly in the starting lineup.
However, the big concern is that Bruno Guimaraes looked uncomfortable on Monday before he came off the pitch and now the £40 million former Lyon man was absent from the club's online training gallery which was posted on the official site this afternoon.
It's obviously not conclusive evidence of anything; Bruno could be deliberately left out of the images to give false hope to Palace. Indeed, there were plenty of big players not represented in the images, but when a player is carrying a knock, it's more of a worry when we don't see them in the training pictures.
In truth, a knock to Bruno could be a blessing in disguise for Eddie Howe as it takes the difficult job of dropping the Brazilian out of his hands.
Sandro Tonali performed brilliantly in Bruno's place when Newcastle beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and trying the Italian in that spot in the Premier League seems like a good idea with Howe struggling for an effective Plan B.
We doubt that Bruno will miss out on Saturday, but it is comforting to know that we have a backup option if he is.
