Eddie Howe is currently managing his way through an insanely bad injury crisis at Newcastle United.
The Magpies have 14 players unavailable for the Chelsea game as things stand and with several players away on international duty, the risk of that number increasing is a huge cause for concern.
One man who is currently with their national side is Fabian Schar who missed Switzerland's game in midweek after complaining of muscle fatigue.
Schar was sent to train with a personal trainer and removed from the matchday squad as Switzerland drew 1-1 with Israel.
The move seemed to be more precautionary than anything and gave Schar a bit more time to recover after a hectic club schedule, but now the Swiss defender has posted an image on his Instagram reel in his training gear, hinting that he's back to 100% and ready to play for his country.
While it's excellent news that his concerns last week never progressed in to anything worse, it now means there's potential for Schar to play in either of Switzerland's next two games, putting him back in harm's way.
Switzerland take on Kosovo later today and then Romania on Tuesday. Given the quick succession of games you can expect Swiss coach Murat Yakin will be rotating his squad which increases the likelihood of Schar's involvement.
Meanwhile, Kieran Trippier completed 90minutes for England last night operating at right-back in the first half and switching to the left for the second half following the introduction of Kyle Walker.
We are still hoping that Tripps is rested on Monday night. Just give the man a break.
