Eddie Howe spoke to the media this morning ahead of Newcastle United's final Premier League game of the season at Brentford on Sunday.
The first order of the day is of course the injury situation with Callum Wilson missing from the last two games and of course, the video chat with fans yesterday which sent social media into a flap.
Eddie Howe confirmed, once again, that Wilson has been suffering with an illness but he expects the striker to be fit to face Brentford on Sunday (via The Chronicle).
"We anticipate he will be back."
The news surrounding Anthony Gordon was not as positive after the Player of the Year was assaulted by Amrabat on Wednesday night. Gordon looked uncomfortable for most of the game following that foul that was ignored by the referee and VAR, and after the game he said it was sore.
Howe has cast doubt over Gordon's availability for Sunday.
"We will have to wait and see how he is today"
Finally, Howe has confirmed that Tino Livramento will also miss the game on Sunday after missing out on Wednesday too. An ankle injury is the reason for Tino's absence which means Kieran Trippier will likely start again on Sunday despite clearly looking well off the pace on Wednesday night.
The Magpies need to end the season with a win to still be with a shout of qualifying for the Europa Conference League, but that will also depend on Manchester United's performance in the FA Cup final, unless Bournemouth do us a favour by beating Chelsea on Sunday.
I'm not sure my knackered old heart can take all this any more, honestly. If there's no post-match write-up on Sunday, send help because I've keeled over.
