The Premier League today announced the last round of fixtures for November to be picked for Live TV broadcast.

In a bit of a shock, Newcastle United's game against Chelsea at St James' Park on 25th November has not been selected for live broadcast meaning the fixture remains a 3pm Saturday kick-off.

Newcastle have dominated the live broadcasts recently, kicking off the season with nine televised games in a row.

When Chelsea come to town that is almost always selected for live broadcast so it's strange to see the Magpies overlooked for this one, especially with Chelsea finally starting to put something resembling a run of form together.

Instead, the early kick-off on that Saturday will be Manchester City v Liverpool, while the evening kick-off is Brentford v Arsenal. I know that's a derby, but surely Newcastle v Chelsea is a more exciting prospect.

Newcastle start November with a live televised game as they take on Arsenal in the 5:30pm kick-off on 4th November at St James' Park.

The following week (11th November), Newcastle are once again the subject of the 5:30pm kick-off down at Bournemouth in the Eddie Howe derby.

Two out of three games on live TV isn't too bad. I suppose we have to let other teams have their turn too.
