Adidas have been knocking it out of the park with the new Newcastle United kit designs and training gear ... for the most part.
A short while ago an image of a training top was leaked online that had pure Sound of Music vibes and fans weren't quite sure whether or not it was real.
Well, it turns out it is very real as Sean Longstaff, Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy and the quiff of Lewis Hall have been captured wearing the top on the exercise bikes out in Germany.
It's all a matter of taste of course, but this is so far, for me, the first big fail from Adidas. Everything else has been a pure work of art until now.
We've all by now seen the images of the upcoming away and third kits and we're all waiting patiently for their arrival as we prepare our wallets for another onslaught.
The away kit being reminiscent of the much-loved maroon and blue hooped kit with the cream Adidas accents and cream shorts, although it seems that they've gone for pure white this time. Even the Newcastle badge is monochrome and it looks fantastic.
The third kit is a white, green, and black number that obviously nods to the Saudi ownership but also to another old Adidas Newcastle kit from the last time the club and the German sportswear giant worked together.
We imagine there's a reason for this leafy training kit too, perhaps it's the leaves of some tree found in Saudi Arabia, or a bush that someone found in Jesmond Dene. Or, more likely they aren't leaves at all but Magpie feathers.
Whatever it is, it's bound to be divisive as it's already stirred up quite the debate in the office.
I'll be keeping my money for the away kit, thanks.
