Two years of Wilson!

It's two years to the day since Newcastle signed Bournemouth's England international striker Callum Wilson in a deal of around £20million. We take a look back at his best goals in Magpies colours over the past couple of seasons.

Goal 1: Debut opener

A crafty finish to open the scoring on the opening day of the awful 'COVID' season. Not a classic, but no doubt memorable for the lad and worth another look.

Goal 2: Megpies

Goal 3: First in front of fans

A typically miserable outcome for Steve Bruce's Newcastle, but Callum's first in front of the St James' Park crowd was a special moment for the lad. The first wearing Number 9, too.

Goal 5: The Mackem killer

Goal 6: A new era

Alright, we didn't go on to win the game, but the cheers for this goal could be heard as far as the Lake District. Everything they've tried so hard to kill, we will rebuild.

Goal 7: Palace overhead

Claimed by some to be his best goal for the club in terms of pure skill; a stunning finish at Selhurst Park.

Goal 8: Forest and Chips

Underrated perhaps due to the visceral thrill of Fabian Schär's opener on the first day of this season, this finish from Wilson was simply sumptuous.
