Squad hit with double injury setback, "zero minute" players this season, Bournemouth match cam posted

Thursday's Update

Injury latest

  • Isak has now withdrawn from the Sweden squad, having trained separately yesterday. The extent of the injury is not known at this time, and we'll probably have to wait till Eddie Howe does his next pre-match press conference
  • More bad news as Bruno withdrew from the Brazil squad and will now head back to the club to be looked at
  • Some good news, Callum Wilson will be back in contention for the Fulham game
  • Anderson will also not be a part of the Scotland U21 side, having failed to show for training with an unspecified injury
  • Dubravka (on loan at Man U) has also pulled out of his national squad with an injury

‘Zero-minute’ players for season so far

  • Newcastle were in the top of the list for most players used, however, they feature fairly high on the zero-minute list
  • Obviously, a number of these are taken up by injuries. With Shelvey, Kraft, and Lewis missing out. The latter at the very least making the bench in recent weeks
  • Manquillo and Dummet feature, though the former did start the season with a slight knock having missed all of pre-season
  • The remaining 3 are all keepers, with Darlow (now injured), Gillespie, and new signing Karius also featured
  • Kraft is the only one here who won't make any appearances until at least January. With the Swede not included in the 25-man squad
