Tickets for Newcastle United's game at Sheffield United on Sunday the 24th of September at 4.30 p.m. BST have gone on sale to supporters with 120+ points over one hour earlier than advertised.

They were supposed to be made available at 2 p.m. today, but eagle-eyed supporters including the excellent @NUFCSpares on X spotted them sooner on the NUFC booking website and have already begun snapping them up.

There are still said to be over 2,000 available to Newcastle fans hoping to make the journey to Yorkshire in a few weeks, for what is our second-closest away game of the new season (as the crow flies).

It's expected that this game will sell out at a much higher number of loyalty points than either Manchester City (10) or Brighton (1) did, with drops of 10 points per day expected to commence from tomorrow at 2 p.m.

The Magpies' last visit to Sheffield United was under Steve Bruce in 2021. Unsurprisingly, it ended in defeat, with Billy Sharp's 73rd-minute penalty giving the Blades a 1-0 win.

Of the 14 players to feature for Newcastle that day, only Fabian Schär, Sean Longstaff, Callum Wilson, Matt Ritchie, and Jacob Murphy will be in with a shout of minutes under Eddie Howe when the two teams meet again next month.

If you have over 120 loyalty points and are planning to go to Bramall Lane, you can grab your ticket here.
